We are a Dedicated Community Serving the Energy Transition
Current/OS is an independent, non-profit, global partnership of electricity stakeholders and manufacturers promoting Direct Current electrical safety, enhancing energy resilience to ensure reliable access to electricity for all.
Defining Current/OS

Current/OS stands for “Current-Operated System” because electricity rules the system. The voltage indicates available power, so all devices in the system can adapt their behavior.
For instance, devices can accelerate or slow down, manage their load, or even feed power back into the grid from their batteries when needed, such as those in electric vehicles.
Solar panels, electric vehicles charging station, LED lights, electronics and various loads across the installation all operate together seamlessly.
