An Automotive dealership in Colorado commissioned Aimbridge Energy to design and deploy a new resilient and efficient energy solution for its 28,000 sq. ft. dealership. With rising electricity costs, increasing EV adoption, and sustainability mandates in Colorado, the dealership aimed to cut energy expenses, improve resilience during outages, and create a visible sustainability statement for both customers and OEM partners.
Implementation
• Two integrated DC Microgrid systems (25kW and 15kW)
• Iconic articulated active Solar tracker (Smartflowertm)
• Upgrade of existing 36kW rooftop solar array supplemented with 48kW of new solar shade structures.
• Dedicated EV charging stations connected to the microgrid
• Over 240kWh of battery storage for backup and load shifting
• Intelligent Energy Management System for load prioritization and uptime
